Maritime Transport: From Fleet Insight to EV Execution

Zero28 July 2026By Dynamon

How Dynamon helped Maritime Transport turn TMS data into a clear electrification strategy — and deliver it day-to-day with RouteZERO. Dynamon worked with Maritime to bridge the gap between strategic electrification planning and real-world EV operations, using ZERO whole-fleet decarbonisation analysis and planning software to turn operational data into evidence teams can act on.

Key outcomes

  • TMS integration via Fargo TOPS into ZERO, delivering a depot-by-depot view of which routes Maritime can electrify today.
  • ZERO platform access so teams can explore data, test scenarios and compare vehicle options across OEMs as plans evolve.
  • RouteZERO in daily operations — validating job feasibility, energy requirements and vehicle choice in minutes for a fast-moving logistics operation.

The whole fleet TMS analysis gave us a clear picture of how much of our operation we can electrify today, and the ability to access that through ZERO means we can keep building on that insight as things evolve. RouteZERO then brings that into our daily route planning. It’s quick, simple, and gives us the answers we need in minutes, which is exactly what you need in a busy operation.

The challenge

Maritime Transport needed to move from high-level electrification ambition to confident, depot-level decisions — without losing sight of how routes are planned and executed every day.

That meant making sense of large volumes of transport management system (TMS) data, engaging depot managers with insight they recognised, and giving operations teams a practical way to validate whether individual jobs could run on electric HGVs.

The approach

Dynamon integrated Maritime’s TMS data (via Fargo TOPS) into ZERO — Dynamon’s whole-fleet decarbonisation analysis and planning software — to deliver a detailed, depot-by-depot assessment of the fleet. The analysis showed which routes could be electrified today, supporting internal engagement and helping depot managers understand the opportunity within their own operations.

Maritime can also access the analysis directly through the ZERO platform. Teams explore the data, test different scenarios and compare vehicle options across OEMs as new vehicles and infrastructure come online — supporting ongoing decision-making as plans evolve.

To support execution, Maritime adopted RouteZERO for daily operations. The operations team uses it to assess individual jobs in real time: whether a route is feasible with an EV, how much energy it will require, and which vehicle is best suited — enabling faster, more confident decisions in a fast-moving logistics environment.

The results

Maritime now has a clear, evidence-based view of how much of its operation can electrify today — grounded in TMS data and structured through ZERO’s whole-fleet analysis.

Depot teams can build on that insight over time as vehicles and charging infrastructure develop, while RouteZERO brings electrification planning into daily job allocation and route decisions.

Together, ZERO and RouteZERO provide both the strategic insight to plan fleet electrification and the operational capability to deliver it day to day.

From TMS-driven fleet insight to confident EV execution, Dynamon helped Maritime Transport connect strategy and operations with ZERO and RouteZERO.
